My single baby hatched out at about 10pm wensday night has been doing good finaly started eating and drinking good friday night or so. this morning she is sneezing tiny little chick sneezes, is this stress from being alone or from insisting on staying in the cool part of the brooder or do you think she is acutually sick. I have more babies hatching today and I was hopeing that I could put the 2 that hatched early this morning in with her tonight, I dont want them to get sick though,

Hello! How often is the chick sneezing? Are you using cedar shavings, those can cause allergic reactions and such. I have not heard of a chick sneezing from stress, but you could always give it a stuffed animal to snuggle with, as it would a mamma hen. If it keeps doing it, or gets worse, you could use poly-vi-sol, which is a baby vitamin. But if it's eating okay, I don't know if it needs them.

she has a teddy bear in there with her and she is on straw hay and is on medicated chick starter and water. she sneezes every few minutes. she has clear eyes and nose seems aleart is really loud still is standing errect but she is getting a little of the yucky poo on her bum now , not pasty butt at least not yet .

I know it was a while agobut can I ask you whatever happened with your sniffly chick?
One of my new ones is doing the same. They seem warm enough, no drafts or cedar shavings...
