Snood Problem?

My Bourbon Red Tom's snood has seriously increased in size, not length, but round-wise and it does not seem to be shrinking back up like it normally does. It almost looks like he has a couple of marbles stacked on each other in there. Is this normal? The snood on the other Tom is still like it always was. Advice, comments....

Could he have been pecked or bitten and have an infection? A bug bite infected?

Other than the large snood he seems fine...I will go back out and take a better look though and a pic. Do they often get bit there?

Looks like it has tick or a scrape on it. if it's a tick....pick it off. If it's a scrape take 2 turkeys and wait a day of so and see if it's back to normal.
