snot??

one of my 5 month old pullets (shes a sussex) has discharge coming from her nose. its sometimes clear and sometimes black. she does peck at lost of mushy things (moss , slime ect) but she dosnt wipe her beak like the others. i noticed that my eldest hen is just starting to do it. should i worry??

I wouldn't worry yet. Is she in a cool envrionment?

no its not cool. its summer where i am so its quite hot but there is a tree in her pen and they shelter there when its hottest and they have lots of water
