Snow Day! With Ducks!

My Muscovies don't like the snow or wind, it's 22 and they are all honkered down as close as they can get out of it all. It's especially hard when yesterday and previous days we had temps into the 50's. Crazy weather.

Lovely ducks!

We got about five minutes of wintry mix ahead of a dry very cold front coming in. Expecting big winds later today, so I'll be sticking close by, and don't plan to leave ducks outside by themselves. I can just imagine them getting plastered against the north fence. Yikes! (The Runners only weigh about 4 to 5 pounds, the Buffs about 6 pounds).

What fun!! We are suppose to be hit with a winter storm this weekend and into lat next week. I hope we get some snow!! I just can't wait to see how the girls will react to thier first snow.

Ya, Mire are not to thrilled.

I opened the door to let them out and waited and waited and waited. Normally they RUN out...today they were not so sure they wanted out in this icky weather.

When they did finally come out they plopped right down and looked at me like I was nuts for letting them out.









I felt so bad for them that I brought water TO them.....
