Here is my baby Lady (the dark one) and her bestest friend Amber (you may see Spirit or Ginger in the background). Saturday we got a real good snow and I just had to go and take some pictures of my baby girl in the snow. Amber is a bit of a camera hog so you'll see quite a bit of her in the pics.

Beautiful!! Lucky girls have their blankets on. In Idaho, my mom's dressage horse always stood outside in the snow. He would end up with 2 feet of snow on his back! So my dad would lock him up in the barn!
Very cute pictures, and it looks like you have a lot of great places to ride.

Yep, we've got three rings (school, jumper, dressage) and 800 acres of trails it is amazing out here. It is just gorgious with the snow.

Awwwwwww only one blanket?

My silly horse got a strap from her blanket hooked in a tree and tore it off (the strap) so I have to try fix it - her other blanket was put on top of an "almost" empty water bucket - and the strap froze to the bottom

Yep she is the only one a blanket, they're all pretty fuzzy nobody's been clipped. Lady would be fine without a blanket but I like to make sure she is nice and warm. She is such a sweet mare, I love her to peices. Amber is just a bit of a pest.

Yep... my girl went without her blanket last night - she's ok, has a little bit of ice on her whiskers - but otherwise fine, she's kinda wooly anyway - I bet she is FILTHY dirty - not had a bath in MONTHS............... eeeewwwwwwwwww LOL
