Central North Carolina, 2-3 inches with mild drifting from the wind.

I *should* be going to work, but we're 3-4 backroads from the one road I can count on being cleared and there is probably black ice under the fluffy stuff.

I will have to go out soon to retrieve frozen waterers and frozen eggs and to open the coops to see if they want to go out or not.

Just now DH had the hard part -- thawing and refilling the frozen waterers. I hauled them and went back to refill feeders while he dealt with the ice.

We got some snow! About 2-3 inches, I think that’s beaten the January 2018 snow

Just a couple days.

My boss and I just decided that I needn't come in. The main roads are, in her words, "pretty decent" -- but I'm 3 or 4 back roads from the main road and this is my road right now:

Wow! There are little heart shaped “holes”! Your road looks great!

It would have been nothing if I still lived in the north. But that road would have been plowed, salted, and sanded.

My town actually had a plow truck run off the road and flip last night.
