Darkness flattened his ears. "I wasn't trying to hurt them! What if they didn't have a mother! Would you just want me to let them starve!?!?!?"

Crystal snarled. "My cubs can take care of themselves!" Star nodded and went into a low hunting crouch. Silver did the same but she jumped on her sister. If Star had been a caribou she wouldve been taken out and eat.

Darkness shifted to a sarcastic position. "Yeah right. The two of them could take down a full grown deer...No a Caribou! HA!!" He snarled. Darkness was getting irritated with this female. "This is why I live ALONE!"
