So everything I've read said that chickens will stay inside their coop if the weather is too bad for them. Well, all of them were staying in the coop except for one girl who I believe may be either a little blind or a little not all there. She was just laying in the middle of the snow storm. I placed her in the coop and locked them in. The coop is 10x8 and I have 11 birds in there. They should be fine , right? I'm going to check on them throughout the day but we've never had to lock them up. I'm just worried that the others go in when they're cold but my little Rose (who coincidently is named after Rose from the golden girls) wont be able to figure that out. Our weather is at -9 with snow blowing everywhere. I'm in Texas so this is so new to us

Yeah. My chickens often have an "inside day" when the snow gets deep in Colorado. Make sure they have good ventilation and plenty of fresh unfrozen water, and they'll be fine.
Plenty of ventilation (we made a ton since we get super hot in summer). I've been checking their water. So far it hasnt refrozen. But I'm sure it will eventually.

11 birds with an 80 sq ft coop can definitely handle being locked in for a few days, so since you have the room, you can do that if you wish.
Sorry, we ended using power, couldnt make calls, or even get online today. They did really well. Had to bring the 3 week old inside and keep them in the kitchen. Thankfully we have a gas stove so it kept it warm enough for them. That was fun waking up at 430 and realizing the power was out, which meant the babies had no heat 😬
