Probably. I read a true story about this Dutch guy. He was going to be joining a college in England, so he asked his teacher to help him learn English. Well, he was about to get onto the train when she came running up to him. Then she told him that she's never heard anybody talk in English! She only knew it by reading! Once he got to England, he couldn't understand anybody.This is probably what I sound like to people who actually know a language.
