Probably. I read a true story about this Dutch guy. He was going to be joining a college in England, so he asked his teacher to help him learn English. Well, he was about to get onto the train when she came running up to him. Then she told him that she's never heard anybody talk in English! She only knew it by reading! Once he got to England, he couldn't understand anybody.

Woah. That must have been very hard!

Yup! They are! Mine are almost hens! We're getting close to the one year mark, but I'm not exactly sure when it is.
