So I’m curious about the colour variant of one of my snowflakes, I thought - from what I have seen - that the chicks are all the same colour, a salt n pepper mix, dark and light patches with a very vague pattern on their backs. But one of my snowflakes is significantly lighter in colour, no dark spots on the head and much less on the body too! Do snowflakes vary in colour like this? Or is it a genetic thing, could he be leucistic? I’m really interested to know!
(A few photos attached, sorry about the quality)
1st image shows the lighter chick in the centre
2nd image shows the two ‘normal’ coloured chicks side by side and my paler chick on the end!
