HI! I have a home (indoor) raised black Australian swan who is so lonely. She's had two unfertilized clutches and it breaks her heart every time she realizes they are not alive.
I am seeking an egg for hatching in an incubator because, my Lord God, she so deserves it.

Can anyone help?

Can you get fertile eggs? Or just take the eggs as she lays them so the don't form a clutch?
It won't keep her from going broody but at least she won't waste her time.
i dont know what any of that means but i am looking for a swan egg i can hatch for her

oh!! thank you. too late, she has become broody twice. I have too. I cant take them from her and she gives up on them sooner than i do. i still have some from last year!

Even duck eggs might do. Some people give broody hens duck eggs and they'll raise them as long as they were the one that hatched them, so it should workout fine. Wouldn't recommend chicks for a swan, though. Since they can't swim.

What's your native language? Do you have room for two swans?

Is she mean when you take it from her? Is that why you can't take them? If she sits on unfertile eggs, they could go rotten and explode.
