Aw! She is a bit scruffy It does qualify now... doesn't seem as though many have ex bats XDView attachment 2403705
I know this won't qualify, but this is my scruffy hen named Elizabeth. I got her by breed a blue frizzle silkie hen to a regular sized NN.
Not an ex bat either, my serama hen Sally Henny Penny

0-0 You are very lucky! Very cuteYep SO tiny.
She is the smallest type of serama and weighs just 225g!
I love her.
They are surprisingly easy to get hold of here but it is cold and wet so she and her sister Hobnob (below) sleep in a dog cage in my room.
They are lovely pets!

Was she expensive? Did you get a fertilised egg? Or do you breed your own?Yep I love them so much!
Not looking for any right now. Just wondering on the price, as later in my life I'd like some chickens and I think bantams would be ideal, however, I know that often they cost a pretty penny. So I was wondering the price of yours!I bought her recently as a mature hen.
They are show quality purebred (Sally Henny Penny has been taken to shows, don't know if she won anything) and cost 25 euros each.
We got two hen because we already have two cockerels (not serama, polish bantam). Are you looking for seramas yourself?
The competition closes on le 14th. Originally they wouldn't have been judged, however... seeing as not many people have ex-batts it is now more just about cute snuggly hens!Oh, I see.
Good luck if you ever try to source some!
PS. when is the competition closed/judged
PPS. I wonder do my pics count?
