So...2 roosters and a hen walk into a yard....

Back in August, I had 2 roosters show up in my yard. They live happily together in a oak tree and they forge 4 yards. They get along and tend to watch out for one another.

As I left my house this morning, I saw a new chicken in the neighborhood. There was a hen that was feeding on the side of the road. She was probably 100 yards from my boys if it were a straight path.

My question is what is going to happen? Are my boys going to wander off searching for love in all of The wrong places? Or, will their crowing woo her to their roost?

Any insight is helpful. I’ll post picks as well.

Glad you're here !

Not sure you would want to lure her in. 2 roos and 1 hen... they'd fight over her a LOT ... and their friskiness might hurt/kill her. I think you might either wanna find a home for the hen, or start a bigger flock.
Especially considering how small the little rooster is compared to that other one, just may well be a blood bath....

Maybe. But my game bantams share hens just fine, if they were buddies as cockerels and matured before being introduced to the hens--often, a pair would steal one hen from the larger rooster and wander around with her together.
