We live in southern California. Day temps are in the mid 80s nights are in the 60s. There are six chicks, coop is smallish, with nice size run underneath.

Can I leave them outside at night? Also, do you think they will figure out how to climb down the ramp and get to their food and water?

They have feathers, but not completely feathered.

Thanks for your help!

Mine have been out since they arrived from TSC. Turned off the heat lamp after a couple of weeks because they were grouping away from it.

My ducks & chicken are outdoors at night. We have misters set up around the perimeter of the aviary roof for the hot summer days though, and place ice packs randomly in the cage for makeshift chicken air conditioning when it gets in the 90s. (My poultry are adults now though, and not chicks!) I have the chicks outside at about 6 weeks old.
