Hey all! build my own coop, its a modest 2 story 4x8 (32sq ft) with vaulted ceilings that double as roost poles, 6 nesting boxes and deep litter method that i hope i maintain correctly. I have had Chickens for about a month now. Started with 15: 8 RIR and 7 BR, my Australian Shepherd took out 4 in the first weekend and we lost one SOMEWHERE. We got the dog all trained and the girls settled in. having a ton of fun and looking for SO Cal locals to "coop up" and share ideas with. (actually i need advice and help)
