don,t feel bad i have three 9 week old RIRs in spare bed room, and four three week old in there to. would have them in my bed room but wife said NOOOOOOOOOO! to me having them in there. and I put 30 RIRs more in bator come tomar sometime, I hope, that not counting the 30+ got outside in coop which was my building and got bed room out there too. just in case wife gets uphappy with me (ha ha)

I was reading some you guys post and so cute..myself I have two spare bedrooms in my house in one is the hatching room and the other is the nursery..then they go out to the coop which got some out there already that are 3 weeks old with 2 heat lamps on them only at nite..turn off when daytime.. been in 70 and 80's they are doing fantastic..Temp in there coop is 80right now where it is in upper 60's outside early in morning. If gets cooler during days will turn heat lamps on.
Living in Florida there is no sense in leaving them in house for several weeks I don't think.

Mine are in the living room. 27 now 5 weekers! Next time they will get their own room... Really Really Dusty! but still irresistible.

Got 2 brooders going down in the main barn.
One brooder has about 23 that are about 5 weeks old. And the other brooder has 18 2 week olds.
They do multiply fast!

No, but I do have a 4 month old purple guinea in a cage on my coffee table.

Yup, a conversation piece for Christmas.

Actually, two of his toes froze off and he's recovering from shock.

Fortunately, the puppy hasn't found him yet.

Box 1 = 2 call ducks
Box 2 = 7 pekin ducklings
Box 3 = 9 Pilgrim/white chinese cross goslings
Box 4 = 7 DipsyDoodleDoo chicks
Box 5 = 24 assorted laying chicks

Bator 1 = FULL 42 eggs of assorted nature. Calls, pekin, pilgrim/white chinese cross
Bator 2 = Full 42 eggs (26 from the christmas swap!), calls, pekin, pilgrim/white chinese cross

Brooder in the barn = 7 speckled sussex, rir, cochin babies

Does this qualify as............ ummmmm............ hatch-a-holic! God I love this stuff!!!!

Man when you write it all down, makes you feel kind of like STUPID!!!!
