Yeah i am addicted to I also have 37 rouens in a hova bator and plan on picking up another bator or 2 to have just to use as hatchery.

13 Wht Silkies due to hatch Friday

6 Serma Due to hatch June 2

So June 2nd my bator will be completely empty for a while


How much do 1-2 mo old chicks normally sell for??

My bator is officially full

I have 12 chukar partridge eggs
3 muscovy duck eggs
4 naragansett turkey eggs
16 fawn/ginger coturnix quail eggs
2 ringneck pheasant
2 bantam turken

14 guinea eggs
1 mutt chicken egg from my dad's birds
and 1 white cornish bantam egg

The other 11 cornish eggs are joining their mama in a few minutes

I sold one of my LG's today, and the other one has a white silkie chick and 3 mutt eggs from my dad's birds in there. Then it will be 'free' for a week or so, until the scovies and the turkeys hatch.

I run 3 Sportsman 1202 incubators and a 1250 hatcher. I raise a few of the chicks, but most are sold as babies to support my habit. Here's a pix of most of this week's hatch. Yes they are crowded in there, but only for the time it takes to walk from the hatcher to the brooder.
