Shipped Button/king quail Hatch-A-Long!

No progress on the others unfortunately, still hoping though as this chick hatched right on the first minute of the 16th day.

Taught the baby to eat and drink but seems to more be interested in cuddling. Drank and ate a bit though.

Wow when they say they pop out like popcorn they weren’t kidding. I went to the toilet then went to grab some snacks when i saw another one popped out! Little buddy finally had a friend.

Another one hatched out a few hours ago which i will be leaving to dry in the bator overnight. They are all so cute, running when i put my hand in. Although they tend to bash themselves on the glass trying to get to me.. hoping they all make it through to adulthood as i heard these guys are fragile.

More of them hatched last night and they were all dried so im guessing they hatched not far from the other chick hatching. these guys are so fast and pop up like jumping beans when i call them. So now i have a total of 6 chicks and 5 eggs left and it’s day 17. Didn’t think this many would hatch. The way they sleep scares me sometimes.

Thank you! Im surprised 50% hatched from shipped eggs. Thankfully didn’t loose any, here they are piling next to me.
