If you can find a reasonably priced chain link kennel, wrap it in hardware cloth (top and sides) and make a 2' apron around the outside. You'll need to put a frame around the doorway too. Put a small temporary structure inside to protect them from the weather. When your coop comes, you can use the kennel as a run.
