Hi there!

We've been itching to get up and in with you all. Here at the SpringHill Heritage Poultry Conservatory we are avid fans of all your voices at the BackYardChickens Forum.

We don't have an icon here yet - but we just couldn't wait any longer...

The Conservatory in located in West Central Coastal Florida in SpringHill, Florida. Very close to lots of doings and places here in the Sunshine State.

Here's our mission statement:

Our mission is to work towards maintaining the genetic diversity of poultry

- including heritage, landrace, ornamental, and game -

while allowing and supporting the interest of

biodiversity, sustainibility, and better health for humans - physically and mentally.



We support the America Livestock Breed Conservancy ALBC-USA.org.
We also support other groups and individuals working to save genetic diversity in animals that are referred to as "domestic. "

We're getting our pages up here in BYCs and have lots of images to post.
