Ours was direct deposited today or last night. Big woop. We went to WalMart and got a $1000 gift card and plan on spending it on diesel, how exciting is that. Honestly, it infuriates me beyond measure. We just want to get it now at the BARGAIN price of $4.07/gallon.

It depends on your status. You could get up to $600 per qualifying adult. That is based on your most recent tax returns, how much income tax you paid, and your salary. Retirees are eligible as well, but they did have to file this year in order to receive the stimulus check. You will also receive $300 per qualifying child. Therefore, a couple with 2 children could receive up to $1800. I believe that is the cut off amount, but I could be mistaken. With higher salaries, the amount will gradually be phased out.

i stimulated the econmy $1800 back in dec for a new flatscreen 50in plasma hdtv.so the money is going on it.

I just read that all direct deposit folks will be paid by May 2nd. Hope it's true. I think we will have a much nicer weekend!
