So how is Zane doing?

that Zanester is lookin alot better than he was in the bad times! remember when you thought you were gonna lose him, and he improved so much overnight! so much tension and now we know he's ok!

Sending wishes every day for Zane getting stronger and stronger. He can almost feel himself at times now.

Wish he didn't have to sometimes take one step back for every 2 steps forward though. Yet he weathers it with faith, knowing he has loving hands in his corner.

My DH took Zane out of his kennel so we could refresh the straw and shaving mixture I have in there. While I was putting fresh stuff in, DH says, "Whoa!". Apparently, Zane's leg was draining infection from the last scabbed over incision. We encouraged it and when it was just blood, put the cream on it and bandaged it up to hold the cream in the wound. I hope this is good, that it's finding the way out of the body. He's so sweet and I know that hurt alot. Poor boy. I wish I had a playpen so I could bring him in the house during the day for certain spells and he could see something different. He never gets mean no matter what we do to him.

Bless his heart Cyn...I do hope that it heals now and Zane is back with his girls.

Me, too. He needs to be with the girls and they seem to like him. He's been through 3 rounds of injectible antibiotics already and I dont want to put him through another unless it's absolutely necessary. He seems to feel okay and his color is still excellent, his eyes bright and alert, so this has to be over soon for him.

I would think it would be over soon. At least the infection seems to be staying localized instead of spreading all over his body, which is a definite plus. Fingers are still crossed that this round he will be healed!

Cynthia, I've just caught up with the Zane thread. That is simply wonderful news. I hope he continues to improve.
