I'd definitely look into the auction option. That was my back up plan a couple months ago as well. I went to TSC to order a pack of 10 chicks. They had a new shipment coming in and didn't have room, so they offered me 80 of their chicks for .50 each. How could I refuse? At the end, he said he may have miscounted so there was a chance there were 83 in there. We got home and counted. Yeah, there were 86. Thankfully I sold all but my desired 12 within a couple days, but I'd have taken them to the auction otherwise. So I bought 30 chicks to raise and sell but I’m having trouble selling them where I live what should I do?!
USPS will ONLY ship day old birds. Most other carriers won't ship birds at all.Sorry sold 10 18 left 2 months old

Auctions may not be an option, depending on where one lives, with the HPAI outbreak. In the future, it would be good to have your market before getting the birds. (Personally, I’d can them or put them in the freezer.)I'd definitely look into the auction option. That was my back up plan a couple months ago as well. I went to TSC to order a pack of 10 chicks. I attend our local livestock auction every Tuesday and thankfully they send out updates immediately via social media and email. You definitely need to know the auction and their policies, certifications, inspections, etc.Auctions may not be an option, depending on where one lives, with the HPAI outbreak.
