So i have a broody hen...

And she wants chicks solo bad what should I do please help I don't know what to do! I also have a person that I can get fertilized eggs from should I or what she has been brooch for like a week.

Do you have any roosters? I would let her be broody of your eggs are fertile, or if you don't have a roosters, go buy hatching eggs!

You can do 1 of 4 things:

1. Let her alone and see if she'll stop (I don't recommend this as being broody is very hard on chickens).
2. Give her fertile eggs to hatch (only do this if she's been broody for a while so you know she won't abandon the nest).
3. Give her day old chicks to adopt (not always successful, so you'll need to be prepared to raise them yourself)
4. Break her so that she doesn't just sit on a nest and possibly suffer health-wise (my preferred choice, unless you really want to grow your flock).

I hatched chicks with two broodies this summer. It's great! If you can get some fertilized eggs I highly recommend it. Its so much better than having to do all the work yourself

I do have everything to take care of them if she dose

Most of the eggs they are laying now should still be fertile. Two weeks is pretty much the limit though.

I can't guarantee what will happen with yours but my broody hens often don't get eggs until a full week after they start being broody and practically always hatch the eggs.
