... you wouldn't want to be here today... high of 48°F, and raining hard enough that I'm considering getting out the power tools and build an ark. Come to think of it, it's been like that for 95% of the summer this year...

But it would be fun to meet up with all you guys. I feel so isolated sometimes. One of the true blessings of the internet is to "meet" such great people.

Oh, what do I need to feed them? I have to get layer food Saturday so I should get something for the quail then too. How old are they now?

I think they are 6 weeks. I'm losing track. They are full grown now.

I was gonna bring you 4 females and 2 males. 6 is a nice little flock and
can share body heat.

Get a 25 pound bag of gamebirds feed. They also eat veggies, fruit, and I'm
told they like Finch food too.

Yeah that scares me too and I voted for him. I wrote a biography about him for one
of my college finals. I flunked cause all the pages were empty.

6 quail are easier than 1 chicken. I'll bring 12 with me so it looks like you are
taking less.
