Let’s see…
Many years ago, a fat and happy little Cochin laid on some eggs… and kicked one out so I had to finish incubating it for her.

Then, to my luck- I had to raise that chick by hand. Literally. This chick slept in a tiny box I could put my hand in so he could sleep with me safely. Never left my sight.

This chick grew up to be almost as big as his dad, followed me everywhere—- he developed a weird fascination with thinking out feet were his ladies… and I got to capture my favorite picture ever.

Yup, there’s me as a wee lass…. In a homemade chicken skirt. Taking my chicken for his daily walk about.

Thanks to this goofy rooster and his massive sire— I once again have Jersey Giants.
This time though, Dibble is leaving my feet alone.

Hehe thank you, you too!!! :wee
I don’t think he was a pure Giant, he could’ve been our Red’s son, but my current Roo is!!!

My current flock besides the Giants are still in chick form—- I went polar opposite and got silkie and satins Oops… 😅
Sooo I’ll share those here too ^^
My needy silkie chick- I think she’ll be a Lavendar? Not really sure!

Unfortunately both dogs in the photo passed away within a year of each other… so it makes that summer stroll even more special <3
Especially because you can still kind of see our pheasant coop! Fun times…

Thank you for the interest!!
