Hmmm....

I would paint the run supports bright red, and maybe do a doorknob thing (alice in wonderland) that way it's not "wrong" it's "themed"

I had to do that with an "arbor" hubby built me, nothing was straight or level, so I painted it bring red, and put red & white climbing roses on it, boom it's not "bad" it's themed.

I have one of those arbors coming into the front of my house,..I should have gone with the theme

Well I think the coop is fab!!! wish I had one like that, and set with the backdrop of the woods, it's great, so a pat on the back for your DH....any more progress pics.....
