Might be a long shot, and not a quick fix, but have you ever concidered petitioning your city/county on a change to up your chicken limit? 5 just would not cut it for me.

I live in a large city, but am lucky enough to have a 1/2 acre that is still zoned ag. So I could have up to 100 chickens. But 15 is good for now, until I up the # for some meat birds.
