Hi it's me again. Exactly 16 days ago I got 60 mixed eggs (in types of eggs and ‘hybirds’) We candled them on the fourteenth day, here’s a list.
I know, I know, it's a bit ambitious. But we figured since we were using a homemade incubator, only about 10 or 15 would survive. The eggs are all very different, there’s green eggs and white eggs and brown eggs. The hatching is going to be very interesting. I heard in a post with still air incubators you should be at 38 degrees Celsius. Is that true? PLEASE COMMENT BELOW. I've been keeping the temperature at 37.5 degrees and it seems to be going well, but it might not be good for the chicks. Thanks!
- 10 infertile
- 11 with only blood ring
- 3 with veins but blood ring
- 5 cracked
- 4 unconfirmed
