This is Gilbert....his Mom was hopping a little too close to the fence while Gilbert's legs were poking out of the pouch....snap...broken leg! He has had surgery & a pin was placed. Sadly, he cannot be returned to his Mom. That's where I become the surrogate Mom.

I am the vet tech for a safari park & the most likely canidate to take on this job...and a job it is!! I carry him in a pseudo pouch 24/7.....he nurses every 2 hours around the clock....and this will go on for MONTHS!

I am exhausted...but gosh I love the little guy!!!
