so happy you got friends so quickly. Chickens see to be so fragile sometimes. 2 is never enough.

Sorry about your loss but am glad you found some buddies!!!
It sounds like your silkie might have had sour crop. There are things you can do to try to help so if it would happen to another one, post on here and we can help you through it!
