So sad :( ...... (see pics)Update!!

I totally understand.

I have 4 Wyandottes that are in their 21st week. Waddles are growing and getting nice red, but no eggs. I put in a nest box for them. . .and they pulled out all the hay.

In my other pen I have 6 production red girls that are only about 17 weeks. Last week they started dropping little pullet eggs.

I'll take what I can get.

It's my job, make you guys laugh when none of your eggs hatch or you're still waiting for your first egg or your fave chicky is a roo and it's illegal to keep roo where you live or stuff like that.

I feel your pain! I gave my black sex link a tour of the grill about a week or so ago, she's now 25 weeks old, and nothing! My other three are 20-22 weeks old, so I am hoping I will get something soon! Maybe I should add in the chichen bedtime stories in addition to the tours!

Thanks everyone for your encouraging words. Those chickens better start "paying the tax man" and soon!

None of my girls got layer until I saw an egg in the nestbox LOL. I don't understand how they could be 18-20 weeks, I did a countdown from when they were said to be hatched and it says they are 23 weeks. Just my 2 cents.. my henlettes (the EE's) are 15 weeks and were hatched on or before May 1st

HA I feel your pain to the extreme, I have 29wk olds who aren't laying yet... And yes, I'm sure they are hens lol

I only said that they were hatched sometime in March. That's what they told me when I bought them. I have no idea what their age is exactly.

I got mine as day olds on March 16th. I go my first egg (i believe from the RIR) 5 days ago. Still nothing from the other 4. Still waiting on some pretty blue/green eggs. Just be patient, hopefully you'll get an egg anyday now.

Oh... and mine squatted and turned red about a month or so before the egg.
