My mom said when she tried to wake me up it was like wakeing a bear up from hibernation. But the thing is though I don't remember her trying to wake me up?

I have a high startle response. I'll wake up quickly if someone says something to me or they get close. It isn't advised to get close though since if you lean over me and I wake I shall presume I'm being attacked and act accordingly. My boyfriend tried to do the Sleeping Beauty, kiss my love awake routine, and he got the surprise of his life when my fist stop a half an inch from his face.

My ex-husband had many injuries before he learned to call to me from the other side of the room if you're not going to let the alarm clock do its job.
