glad you are better deerman. Sometime I wonder if we start feeling the pressure of these weather changes in our moods before they make it to the nightly news.

Roedy, The best medicine for your dad is knowing that you are there rooting for him. Where is he? I'll direct my ~~~ his way. and throwing a few towards Ct too.

i know how difficult is is to not be able to just rip them from their bodies and do the fighting for them. It is a shame we can't give you all a bit of rest.

The Moffitt cancer Center is there. They are good. When you are there you see so many people in various stages of treatment. It is sad, and good at the same time. Just a couple of decades ago, they would not have had the opportunity for treatment.
Funny you mentioned the cool air. I felt it just today. We may have 85 degrees tomorrow. That's air conditioned temps for us! I am looking forward to it.

We didn't talk about our dogs in our PM. I love my dogs and part of them have never been socialized so I pity a person if they try and come in on me. The last three visitors I had come in the house got bit. I don't allow anyone to come in anymore. We just have to visit in the driveway.
It's my fault they were not socialized. They were born after I got sick so I didn't socialize them. Oh well, they don't bite me. lol

Cancer, 9/11 and my special hat

When you find out you have cancer,
you go home and try to think of a answer.
Two women that live miles apart,
traded there stories and there was a start.
We were both scared not knowing what to do,
so we traded gifts for something to do.
My gift was special I felt honored to have it,
a 9/11 hat with all the heros on it.
Cancers cruel joke of losing my hair,
is paying me back with thick curly hair.
It's a time to remember a time to morn,
I placed my special hat on all my curls.

Now I'm ready to face the world!
