Yup that's my cowdog, or in her case catdog, lol. She thinks she is a cat and doesn't care for dogs, especially puppies. She just turned 12. I found her after someone threw her away at the age of 6weeks in the graveyard behind my old house. Spook is also my Service Dog. She tells me if one of the gazillion things I am allergic to is around so I don't go into anaphylactic shock. She also detects one of my students seizures about an hour in advance.
I wonder if Aussie have a special talent for detecting events? besides their breeding to herd and protect. Mine could tell when my husband was having low blood sugar and would come and get me, or wake me out of a sound sleep. He would also get very upset if there was a hornet in the house, as I am allergic to them. Most time I hadn't even heard them yet.
