Stinkin' hot in NJ tomorrow [93 before humidity factored in and they keep raising the number predicted - it was at first 89, then 90, 91, 92 now 93] - I hate leaving my babies all day with the heat that's rolling in - I will fret all frikkin day - too early in season and they're not acclimated [will have to leave lots of cool things for them, and fans] - stay cool yourself! Well, they say cooler by the shore but I don't know if you're close enough to the shore to get any of that cooler air - hope so

Same thing going on here, we are having the weather that we normally get in late July...hot and muggy. Suppose to be in the 90's today. The horses were begging to come in less than 30 minutes after they went out. Bugs and heat! ugh! I headed to work earlier today, so I can get out before the office becomes an oven.


Where is that Luna chick anyway? I'm going with no news is good news and she doesn't need us right now.

I never get to see the back of my head, let alone with no hair, so it's always nice to hear.

I have a sick hen I'm dealing with. Ruby has sour crop and I have her on my back porch where she can see her buddies. She spent Sunday night in my fav chair so she could rest. She was there all day Monday too. I held her upside down and the stuff that poured out of her

She's less squishy now. I was trying to get her to eat this morning.........she nibbled a little scrambled egg and some wet kitty kibble. But not much. I also watched her drink some water with ACV in it, she drank a lot then started moving her neck like she was trying to get something moving along in her crop. She is pooping so something getting through. I'm worried about her.

JJ - yeah I just saw the news about the heat for tomorrow. Maybe I should bring Ruby in that day, I don't know.

I want to thank all of you for your wishes and prayers etc. It's very encouraging to read them and I really appreciate it. They must be working because I feel very good, really just normal until I look in the mirrror.
