Luna i am sorry to hijack your thread.. BUt I have a very young friend she is a single mother who is battling with ovarian cancer, she has no family and her friends are fighting her all the way.. She has found out that the cancer has spread to her kidneys... She is contemplating suicide and is really scaring me.. I really need to get some folks that have been through it and know what she is going through.. She needs to see that she can fight this.. If you could help please email or pm me and i will get her email to you... Thank you all...

When you get her on here Coop, you can have her PM me if she wants. Otherwise, let her read, if that helps. She's got to want to read though. I'm curious as to what chemo drugs they are giving her.......are they going to change the cocktail mix? What are the Docs telling her?

Coyote you are such a joy to read, your sense of humor makes me LOL. Thank you for the advice, I actually don't think of her as being sick so I guess in a crazy kind of way I end up feeling guilty wondering if I may need to seem more concerned. I kind of let her lead the way as far as her illness goes. She does sometimes open up and worry about seeing her grandchildren grow up or get married. (She's a young Grandma) I have seen the tears a couple of times and we just keep talking and somehow something becomes funny and we end up laughing. She has a good sense of humor too!

Love the garden idea. I'm in Texas and have already planted so I'm going to have to go home and start naming plants. What a fun idea!

Love the cap ideas, the tie-dye is great! May need to make MBF one! I can crochet and knit also, may try to find some very soft yarn.

What about Moon flower? Or something red to match your hair. Cardinal flower? What is your astrological sign? Could go with something related.
