I was being lazy.......I would come on here for a little bit then get lazy again. I DO feel better and I see the Dr today to test my blood. Hopefully it's OK and I have the next week off until Wed when I do the chemo again. My port site is all inflamed and itchy

driving me crazy, I have to train myself to not think about it, but sometimes it's just hard not to. (Can't wait til that sucker gets yanked out!)

I take the dex next Tues & Wed. I'm actually looking forward to that part so I can get some cheap energy

I just have to remember not to knock myself out. That should save my butt for the following week so I don't feel too tired. I did eat steak and a lot of salmon and veggies. It took a while but it worked! Paul promised me salmon again today before I see the Dr. Paul doesn't like seafood, but I adore it, I just have to hold the tail down so it doesn't flap around so I can gnaw on it

Take vitamin C with whatever Iron you are consuming. It helps it to absorb and be utilized.

Oh I've been eating, that's not a problem. Just smaller meals more frequently. I think I gained a couple of pounds. I have to stop buying icecream.

I have that classic "chemo look" now. Almost no eyebrows - I have to pencil them in.

I have half of my eyelashes, none on the bottom.

This is starting to get to me mentally, kinda bringing me down. Only a little though, I have to distract myself from myself. So...............I'm picking up some baby chicks this Sunday. Just three of them. That should do it.

Be glad my mother isn't there- she'd be feeding you liver that had "sole". I made the mistake of being anemic once. NEVER again.

My best birds are the mutts! Since I don't show or sell any particular breed I'm not picky about it! Hope you get one from Charly.

Don't faint.....but I am officially off the rooster magnet list. I have sold/given away 5 this month and have just one 11 week old blue Delaware Blue Hen rooster! They all went to pet homes and I am over the moon about it. Though it is awfully quiet..........

And.....................all my ducks are girls!

Well it's about dang time!! Do you know how you had these people worried?

Glad you are feeling better. I never lost my eyelashes, but did loose the eye brows. It was those funny little hairs on my head that got me. Why did most of my hair fall out and not all of it??!! How come some of the hairs continued to grow?! I think some scientists need to check this out to see if there something different about those hair foliciles than all the others!! Still don't have to shave my pits, lol.

I'm getting rid of most of my chickens. I've decided I want to use the runs for Katie so she can run and play in the yard without me fearing she will run out in front of a car she doesn't hear coming. I'm ging to keep my Seabrights and I also have some EE bantams I'm picking up on the 7th. After all that wire I pulled to make that huge run, lol. Oh well. Life keeps on changing.
