Kate, I'm so sorry for your friends. Please know their fight has not been in vain. It is them that gives us the courage to keep fighting. Through them, though us, we fight that someday when someone comes to that point of a peaceful end, it will be after a long life of nothing but happiness.

Thanks for the site I'll check it out.

We are training Katie to be my next Service Dog partner so she gets to go where ever I do. Lurchie and her stay with me until I get hooked up and then he'll take her to the dog park or home to play in the yard. She'll still to young to ask to sit there for 5 hours quietly. We did the same with Spook. She gets a dose of lovin' from the Onc Nurses and maybe a couple of patients before they head out with Dad to play.

uggh ,Sea cucumbers are animals... squishy invertebrates.

but if they help you feel better... besides, I am sure they drained them, and dehydrated them, and capsulized them. How bad can that be?

Kate, I have been thinking about you all summer. I have been sending you positive energy thoughts. Some one has been sending them to me, so I have been a tad more positive. Losing friends is hard. I am sorry they and you and their families have to go through this. Please keep your chin up, and remember we are here for you too.

Dear Friends in this thread, I have had such a demanding summer (installing and building a new accounting system), I have not until now had the time or energy to sign on to another computer after very long days to look in on you. I have spent the last two hours catching up and I so love the new name for this thread!

I am glad to hear you are doing so well Luna and I love your new hair, I hope this month goes quickly for you.

CM, I hate to hear that you are going through this again. With your spirit and positive attitude you are indeed a WINNER. I hope your treatments are going well and hopefully not making you sick. Eat those bananas, grapes and oatmeal!

I lost my best friend in 1999 to cancer and have another fighting hard now. It's difficult to know what to say to her to help, but again, as I wrote months ago, reading these post helps me to understand alot she is going through. You all are very special people giving a very important message!

To everyone else who has loved ones and friends fighting, a special prayer for you and yours.
