Oh Luna, I'm sorry about your husband. I pray that he can find comfort now. You have tried your best honey don't feel bad that he had to go there. Let them worry about him!! Lurchie and I are planning another trip to Charleston. We have only been once and it was AWESOME!!!!! It should be much cheaper on the off-season. If you ever go, you MUST go to A.W.SHUCKS seafood resteraunt!!! Fresh off the boat. I didn't even have a meal. I graised on appitiezers all night!! They took special care of Lurchie. He's allergic to seafood. The manager himself prepared his meal (awesome pasta primavera!) and personally told all wait staff that he was allergic and not to go near him with the stuff. PLUS!!!! They have a doggie patio!! How can a place not be good if it has a doggie patio??!!!

Ok, Spirit Guides, don't want to be a casaulty of a religious debate here. This is what I beleive not what HAVE to believe (that my disclaimer statement, ROFL)

Spirit Guides are like angels and not at all like most ghosts. Spirit Guides come along when you need help with something be it spiritual, emotional, psychological or spiritual. Those that have come to me, I have never known in real life, but I've been told by others that some guides that come to them are pasted realitives. Guides come to you in away that you are most likely to accept them. Me, as we know I am a crazy lady, lol, I see animal spirits. I've always told you of how close Spook and I were. I swear to you, I didn't speak but a few words to Spook after about the age of 4. She and I communicated through thought. Lurchie will tell you, many times I would look at Spook or she at me and he would yell at us, "What did you say to her/what did she say to you?" Spook would start barking and I would start laughing because we only knew what was said. I have others, an owl, an Orca, a Crow, and of course a Coyote. There are a few more that come time to time to help me with something I'm dealing with or there to help me learn a lesson I must learn.

I have another Spirit Guide who is with me at all time's. His name is Lionel. He is my greatggggggrandfather who was a slave on a plantation in VA. He keep reminding me to be humble. I think he teams up with coyote from time to time so I end up falling flat on my face!!

You ever heard a voice but there was no one there? Ever had a question and then the answer pops right into your head? Ever been some place, met someone, or were told something but you have sirens going off in your head? That's your guides. Some are always with you, others come when they are needed. Ever had someone come up to you that you had never met, they told you something you needed to know and never saw them again? That's them.

I don't know why when someone brings up a spiritual path other than the "normal" ones, people get their panties in a knot and are ready burns us at the stake, dunk us in a lake until we float or drown or beat us with a book because they think their way is better. I've never said anybodyelse's way was wrong, just not my way! I LOVE IT when folks of different paths can walk together for the good of all. It's that what each of us wants any way isn't it??!

this last time around which is a good thing. Things don't taste normal though. Maybe I can kick my Dr. Pepper addiction!!

I'm actually feeling strong enough to make dinner tonight. Lurchie has been eyeing up the egg noodles in the cupboard so I'm making pork chops slowly cooked in cream of mushroom soup with a touch of italian seasoning and paprika. This gravy will be spooned over the noodles. Greenbeans on the side!!

Loved reading about your Spirit Guides, I too scratched my head

and like Luna wondered if you were refering to a computer glich of some sort or was it possible that you too are aware of the spiritual world that surrounds us. My class A personality doesn't allow me too much time to dwell on my guides, AKA Angels AKA majic bubbles, but I learned very early to listen to them. I'm convinced that there is no coincidence in our lives. Our guides are there for us. The belief in them can't be a bad thing!!!

Luna, I am so sorry to hear about your DH and all that you have been going through. I have back problems and they are no cup of tea. I too have been frozen, unable to move, with no one home. First time I was putting on panty hose, in my closet, half bent over standing----frozen.

It is not fun, I eventually managed to get on the floor, and luckly after about an hour I managed to crawl to a phone. I hope the MRI is good news and all turns out well and his recovery is speedy. You guys have been through enough. Mine is actually a pinched nerve, that just "happens" whenever. Stays awhile and disappears!! I've actually trained myself to know when it is coming on, makes it alittle more liveable.

My best friends hubby is dying. Terminal. No hope. Bile duct cancer which has caused his liver to fail. Honestly? Right now I have no words. I just know every time I see her caller ID on my phone, my stomach lurches.

The Stuff=a recipe my mom got out of a good housekeeping magazine many many moons ago. I was still in high school, lol Paprika Porkchops and potato dumpling stroganaouf(?) This was my quick version. Mom had sent us an Omaha Steaks package with pork chops. Sprinkle them with Ms. Dash Italian Medly, brown both sides in a skillet. Meanwhile, 1 can of cream of mushroom soup, 1 can of milk, sprinkle of pepper and a tsp paprika--run it through a blender. Once the porkchops are brown pour soup mixture over them. Just as the soup begins to bubble, turn it back to a low simmer. Cook some egg noodles or spatzle when done, plate, top with pork chops and spoon gravy/soup over. 30min. Rachel Rae has nothing on me!!!!!

Positive energy from whatever path is always welcome!! I think that is why Coyote chose me. I can't be a type A personality and have Coyote Magic/Medicine! The 2 simply do not go together, lol

Yea, can't imagine a Coyote could be a Type A, it is a love and hate thing though, while I'm class A about job, crafts, and anything I happen to be pursuing at the time, I love to kick back and have a great time with friends and family and am very fierce about defending those I care about. Not sure what animal would choose me. Never put a body or face on that voice.

See any wolves around? I don't know his name but he is definitely a wolf. He belongs to the old man, Native American?, that sits by the huge waterfall.

That is how I met him. I was at a Reiki class. The instructor was doing her thing and all of a sudden I start crying. I was unaware I was crying. People around me told me so. When asked by the instructor what happened that made me cry I told her, "The weirdest thing, I was listening to you and all of a sudden I was standing looking up at this waterfall. I started to walk up and out of the mist I see "Wolf". Wolf looked like he wanted to approach but wouldn't. I beckoned him and he just put his head down, ears back and tail wagging. He wanted to come but wouldn't. Then I saw the old man, He was telling "Wolf" "No, she is not ready yet." I wanted to go to the wolf but couldn't. It was almost like I had to wait for him to get me. But, I wasn't ready yet. I so wanted to go.

Now Wolf only helps when the old man lets him.

DH update: He has spinal stenosis

And because of the fracture having splintered they don't want to risk things with surgery. The splinter has entered the spinal canal, between the break and the splinter he's in a lot of pain. Morphine last night and today they gave him patches along his spine with more pain meds. He is getting aquainted with the pain management team and he'll be there a long time for rehab to get him up and walking again. So I'm on my own with things at home. I'm going down there now to visit. I hope I make it there without an emergency stop at some bathroom along the way.
