I got in trouble when I was a kid because saved up my allowance to get it cut short. All that hair wouldn't fit under my baseball cap and catchers mask!!

UGH!! Since my last treatment I have been sick. Trip to the hospital with fevers and chills. They sucked out half my blood and replaced it with antibiotics. They decided not to keep me because my type of chemo doesn't supress your immune system. It was working just fine trying to get rid of whatever was trying to take over. Saw the doc on Friday. I have a staph infection (AGAIN!!!) in my port. I'm on twice daily IV antibiotics at home. I'm hanging from the ceiling fan! They want to see if they can try and save it. This is #3!

So how is everyone else doing?!

I think you are wonderful and strong and wish I had some of your -whatever it is- that makes you determined and strong.

Thank all of you for your suggestions to help my friend. I did get my hands on some good hemp oil, she tried it and felt somewhat better, but since I last wrote everything has turned for the worst. The swelling is not good and I now know my dear friend is about to be free. I think she has decided that it is time. She has told me she is ready. She faught hard for four years and actually has lasted 3 more than predicted. The sorrow about leaving her family is gone and she seems very peaceful. I know in my heart at this point that it is all up to a higher power. I'm not without hope but I understand what will be will be. Without medication, She sleeps pretty much all the time now and says she is in no pain, basically feels good. For this I am glad.

I'm breaking my posting boycott because I need to ask for prayers for my sister in law. She didn't tell us she has been having a discharge from one of her breasts for several months until she went for an MRI today. She went to the Dr. a few days ago and was told she has an overactive gland in her head that is also pressing on her optical nerve and causing a form of lactation. They did the MRI to find out if this gland is over-sized and possibly cancerous or just over-active. She didn't go to the Dr. sooner because of money issues and she didn't tell us so we couldn't try and help. Gema has the biggest heart on this Earth and I love her like a sister. She cared for me when my face was rebuilt, she has sat with me through biopsy's, through surgery, just about everything. She and my brother were in a vehicle accident and she broke her neck and back in 4 places and we were with her through that. The idea of something happening to her is tearing me apart. She has a follow up Monday morning on the MRI; please please pray for her. I can't ask on Facebook, her kids are on my friends list and they don't know.

Coyote hate to hear you are having a hard time, keep fighting...know its hard to stay strong ,but keep fighting.

Today my birthday , so I made it a year older.
I worry about this port of mine sometime, but so far its ok....they draw blood from it, and flush it now every 6 weeks.

Been 7 months living will this cancer , in my body. The chemo pills i hope are still holding it back, months waiting till i can be test to see how much it has spread. this fall i think b4 test...

You will never know how much you have help me in this fight. THANK YOU
