Had the pet scan , but know the results on the 12th'

they gave me a dvd of the scan....guess what i have a heart, heck even a brain in there....no prego no baby in there...nice to watch my insides working..

The DVD and me go to the doc. on the 12th....i wouldn't trust my reading the pet scan.

I've been following this thread for some time now. Having had breast cancer in 2005, I'm never away from deep feelings and thoughts about this subject, and wanting to hold the hand of each one of you as we tolerate this unfair invasion in our bodies.
Deerman, I'm visualizing your pet scan showing nothing but good. It can happen, you know. And for all the others out there...we are floating in the same boat, and not letting it sink, so let's keep rowing!

My sister had one done when she was having headaches. She showed it to me to prove she wasn't a HAMSTER BRAIN which I've called her since we were kids

I told her that the reason he wasn't running around on his wheel was because they NUKED him when they did the test.

With the talk of "what's in the head". I hope ya don't mind me sharing a little story. See when dad had the brain tumor he took radiation treatments. And since at that time CT and MRI were barely known. They always took an X-Ray pic of his (as we called it) empty air space. Well one day dad decided to have a little fun. Since he reloaded ammo he took a new bullet and when they had him all in position and were not looking he slid that bullet under his head for the X-Ray. There was a brief panic when they saw it in the pic and then they all had a good little laugh. He was a bit of a prankster. I miss
