So, TSC Chick Days, Just saw on FB(my moms)That my local TSC is selling chicks NOW

I know I don't have to say it, but post pics when you get them! lol

ETA Oh I went to my TSC today and they were out of most of everything (they came on the 20th) but the signs they had were only for EEs, Barred Rocks, Columbian Rocks, Red Sexlinks, and bantams. All they had left were a ton of the Barred Rocks, I guess because they were straight run, some of the red sexlink pullets, and Sebright bantams. Hopefully yours will have a better selection!

New birds and new breeds come in every week thru the end of April :)

You can also check out the new 20+ breeds of chicks and ducks online -- http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/ca...oultry_SuppliesLive_Baby_Chicks_Ducks_Turkeys You can order in quantities of 10 per breed. That's new this year!

I'm not sure if I'm happy you just told me that lol

So the date on the TSC website is just when they get the first shipment, and then they keep coming in every week through April, correct? I was wondering about that, since every store only had one date and I thought surely they don't just get one shipment a year!

With that 6 chick minimum that could be dangerous, as far as chicken math!

Correct! That's just the week the FIRST shipment of birds comes in. Almost all stores will have birds now (except where it's really cold). And chicks do sell out REALLY fast at first, but new birds come every week :) Plus, online birds are now available year-round! 20-25 breeds that rotate daily based on what's hatching -- 10-bird min: http://www.tractorsupply.com/tsc/catalog/poultry/poultry-supplies/live-baby-chicks-ducks---turkeys
