So ummm nearing halloween and...

I love Halloween. Its my bday and anniversary. Um...did I say that I love Halloween?

My kids are too old to trick or treat. We are thinking of watching scary movies. Its difficult to find something that will give my 11 year old a fun scare without really frightening her. But watching the first scary movie with mom is a tradition.(um..did I also say that we were a weird family)

I might look up recipes for fun Halloween fare.

Halloween is my fave holiday, but I think this is my last year trick-or-treating. I love dressing up though, so maybe in coming years I'll just throw a big party.

I LOVE Halloween. I love it even more than Christmas. My family was always really big into the holiday and it has rubbed off on me. I don't dress up anymore, but my work at the college puts together a big halloween dance party called "Lollanobooza". Its so much fun and I always dress up for that.

I think I love the month more than anything though. Beautiful weather (Well, not so much this year), scary decorations, and an excuse to dress in a costume. I've always said I'd like to get married on Halloween and I can't wait to take my children trick or treating some day, or to make them costumes.

I have the biggest bonfire ever. I mean big. Its a pile of any thing wood. there is about 30 pick up truck loads of wood on the pile right now and im putting about 15 more on. There are over 100 people coming roasting 3 pigs and half a cow its the best

I'm too old to trick-or-treat.

So I stay home and put out the strobe light and the fog machine and the Hallowe'en lights and stuff like that.

I'm a big fan of corn mazes, too, the darker and scarier the better!!

I love the corn mazes! We thought that we would cheat one year and bring my Saint Bernard..(cause they are supposed to find and rescue people..so we thought she'd show us the way out..lol)
She did do good! Only not not what we wanted...

what she did was..she heard kids yelling/playing in the center of the maze..and brought us right to them! *of course..then we were more lost..*

I missed halloween as a kid, I grew up in a country that doesn't DO halloween...

I've been making up for it the last 10 years or so............

I'm gonna be a vampire this year, cause my 6 year old daughter wants to us to be the same!
