So ummm nearing halloween and...

We used to decorate for Halloween and carve the punkin and all the fun stuff. Used to love seeing all the great costumes as the kids came to the door. We still buy way too much candy and we don't get any treaters. Two years ago we got 6. Last year we got one. All the kids around us have grown old enough to not want to trick-or-treat they just want to trick so the go into other neighborhoods for that.

Yeah I trick or treated when I was younger. We werent much into decorating. But My Mom would let us go out for candy. I do admit I got kind of sick of it. Only because every year we had a party at the school. And everytime I would get sick. But other then that I love it.

This year I plan on sitting back and watching scary movies. Then they have that live ghost hunters thing. Lol. Believe it or not I sat threw the whole thing last year hahaha.


But If I had the chance I would love to throw a cool costume party or go to one.....someday lol

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday and time of the year. It's so fun and magical! As a 40 year old (wow, did I really admit that?!), I can wholeheartedly say you may get too old to Trick or Treat, but you NEVER get to old to enjoy Halloween!! I decorate more for Halloween than most people do for Christmas. The celebrations last the entire month of October-pumpkin food, decorations, movies, haunted houses, any kind of fall themed fu I can find. Some years I travel to a Halloween celeration (Salem is the BEST for Halloween!!!), but if I am in town for Halloween night, there are decorations abounding in the house and porch, strobe lights and black lights on the porch, spooky music being played outside...all for the tiny handful of Trick or Treaters who really rack up because I buy way too many treats. Inside there are cookies and costumes for me and the dogs, usually someone comes over for the evening, and we watch Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown. And never forget to light a candle to light the way for souls passing by! Gotta love Halloween! How could you not??
