A Peaceful, Drama Free Day... cuz I'm sick of having to drug myself (for headaches & hearburn) just to deal with my family...

Really, what is Planters secret? Don't see the almonds throwing the pecans out, or the brazils picking on the pesky peanuts... How come all THEIR nuts get along in the same bowl and ours don't?

a new pair of xmas flannel pj's (last year Dh thought it would be funny to get me candy cane striped ones..sooo not a good style for me ahahaha) , bath soaps, and to watch my kids open xmas gifts...


Why?? cause bath soaps and Pj's are my fav....and watching the expressions on my kids faces on xmas day when opening gifts makes me and my Dh super happy :-D

For example...

For all those projects I like to do / want to do:
A nice Dremel set & plenty of attachments (100 + the $30 attachment set)
A set of 20 router bits ($60)
New tires for my car (yeah, sorry, doubt Santa will come through on that. They won't fit in his sleigh.) Why? 'Cause I'll need them soon...

For cleaning around cages & project areas:
A new, more powerful shop vac (mine is the $20 one...works but not enough suction for some jobs)

More realistic:
A couple of books related to gamebirds & button quail (self explanatory)
Chocolate (Because I have good sense?)


Bought myself some "early" Christmas presents...
A whole bunch of sprouting seeds...14 pounds worth. Each pound is a different type. Why? Fresh, cheap veggies for us and for the bunny
a pair of socks...because they are warm...
band saw & table saw (at an estate sale) useful for my projects. Have already used them several times...
lumber & fencing to build my bunny a bigger enclosure...because it makes for a happier, healthier bunny!
 
I might have to talk to Santa about another early gift...

My car needs its oil changed this week. I like having a working car.

I already got a new microwave because the one that DH had when we got married five years ago died. We were walking out of the store and he said....well, there is your Christmas present!!! It was HIS microwave that died!!! Well, then we went and looked at fridges and we ended up buying one because they were on sale, had a $250 rebate plus the $250 from the state for turning in an old fridge. So, $400 for the new fridge that is sitting in my dining room because the kitchen is not remodelled yet.

But....what I really truely want and need is a new coop for the cochins. Poor, poor Harry does not have a coop and his new girls are in the tractor waiting out their quarantine....but my DH says he is not building another _ _ _ _ coop that other people don't have multiple coops and that I was nuts thinking that there should be THREE coops out there!!! It is painfully obvious that he never gets on BYC or talks to ANYONE about chickens except me, who he does not listen to, and his BIL who he does.....and it is me he should listen to! But my DGD is working on my DH and he will cave because he always does for her. She is 10 and decided she would tell him she wanted to go to Lowes to shop for Christmas and drag her money out and ask what 2x4's are and how much they cost....she is good, I'm telling you!

But having a place for Harry and the girls to get in out of the cold is what I personally want for Christmas.....and maybe someone that would want the two LF Black Cochin roosters that were supposed to be hens!

All that and for my family to have good health and peace for Christmas!
 
I want new plumbing in the entire house 'cause mine busted and flooded the house (getting it today)
I want new sheetrock already installed, painted, and the mess cleaned up, (magically-so I don't have to deal with all the headache) I KNOW I will get the headache.

I want 80 square bales of hay because the 1,000 pounds of winter rye grass seed I planted died because of drought.

I want to spend Christmas Day with my family eating too much. Don't need presents.

That was the real stuff, now for the fun stuff.

I want MORE CHICKENS!!!!!!!
I want a table saw.
I want an enormous stack of R-panel 20' roofing tin, green color.
I want a zebra that is trained to ride.
 
I want my own Dallas Cowboy Cheerleader...cuz...duh

Then i want an ice pack for my head when the wife finds out....cuz...duh

I would take some more chickens and guns and knives and....cuz...duh

Really....I think I am getting a range finder for bow hunting cuz i really want one and have wanted one for awhile and i think my family wants me to have one...

I really just want to buy stuff for my family cuz it is cool to watch them
