OK, I woke the kids up so that they could eat and clean out the coop, feed the chickens, water the chickens, and do their morning chores inside the house. Then I got dressed did some more research online, drove to the feed store, bought a bunch of crap thta I can't afford, now I'm going to get the kids started on school and go totally clean out th ecoop and dust it and the run, bath half of my chickens and dust them, build a mini coop for my new two frizzles, clip their toe nails (I don't understand how someone let them get so long and crazy looking?!?!?!?!?), then clean my entire house put up two loads of laundry, do another load of laundry, and cook dinner. Then my husband is going to act like he's too tired to be alive (which he has been working 80 hour weeks), and act incredulous that I should be tired when I get to stay hom eall day!!!

I must say that everyone who has already gotten up and done evrything, should be queens for the day!!!!!!!!!! Congratulations!!!!!!

Me too with the procrastination. Altho, I tried somethin dif this mornin.

Got up, put the big girls out in the kitchen while I cleaned their box all up, then put them back IN! Told them it was cold out and I would put them out when it was over 35. Hmm, didnt go over very well.
Even tho it was Fussy crying and sniveling becuz she was cold last night, she loves being outside. She proceeded to beat up on Red. I cover them with newspaper, thinking dark might calm them down. Nope, five minutes later I take the newspaper off, to see Red looking up at me miserably, like "ya GOTTA get me outta here, this chicken is crazy". So...I take them out to their pen, and give them some corn. Darned chickens!

Then took hubby to class, cleaned the little girls box and let them run around, fed them some blueberries (Dash is in love with blueberries), til they went in and raided Mom's room, so then I put THEM back in their box.
Now here I am. Didnt get anything else done except make myself a hot tea.

wow some of you guys are busy little bees in the morning! So far I have : Showered, let out chickens, treat for whatever illness chicken has, fed chickens, went to school, cleaned NASTY chicken butt, and now just getting ready to do some laundry, and wait for the repair man to come for my fridge.

Boy, I'm feeling lazy compared to some of you! So far this morning (almost 8 now) I have -
Let out the dogs
Fed dogs, cats, fish, chickens, horses, husband & son
Made lunches for everyone
Put in a load of laundry
Folded a load of laundry & put away
Stripped beds (into laundry soon)
Paid bills
Went to have a cup of coffee with my mom (she lives on
the same property as we do)
Watered potted plants on deck and inside
Put away dishes from dishwasher
Took carpool to bus stop
Went for short walk

When I get off here, it's into the shower and off to work. My husband - got up, ate breakfast, left for work.

I get up at 5:15 and leave for work about 8:40; he gets up at 6:15 and leaves for work at 6:45. Okay, I'm not really complaining because I only work (outside the house) 25 hours/week, but when he complains about how tired he is, I just roll my eyes.

Everyone have a great day!
