Taxes included it used to be nearly $17.00 per pag layer, nearly $20.00 per bag anything else, but thankfully our feedstore switched and it is now almost $14 per bag of any type. Very happy of that.

It's just typical feed, we can't afford better plus we'd have to drive a long distance to pick up anything better, but hopefully we'll grow our own "better" soon.

our lumber store was having a seminar, and I won a 25lb. bag of feed at the raffle, so that's why my first bag is painless for me, I only paid 16.00 for 50lb/organic

I've been paying $10 for 25 pounds of chick starter. I thought that was cheap until I read this thread! I don't know if that's because of our area (San Diego) or if the feed store Ive been going to is just overpriced.

I normally go to tractor supply for feed for all our animals but recently found that Blue Seal was a little less money. I just bought a 50lb bag of grower pellets for $13.
