thanks for the answers. Will say about 8 years ago we ordered some Ancona chicks from MM, and they grew up to be CRAZY--- but just like the description-they were true to form. I would not have them again......you could really never "bond" to them.

Hatcheries may do that to keep certain traits for rare breeds.
